Smoke and pet odor don't just sit on surfaces. They get pulled into your AC and HVAC system and blown back out every time the air kicks on, and vacuuming and wiping can't reach them. Because ozone is a gas, it travels the same path the smell does: into the vents, ductwork, and air handler where the odor actually lives.
Pet urine doesn't stay on top. It soaks through carpet and padding into the subfloor, where surface cleaning can't reach it. Enzyme cleaner goes where the urine went and breaks it down there. Then ozone treats the smell left in the room.

That's a good time to call. We can treat the bare subfloor directly as part of an ozone job, and it needs to dry fully before new flooring goes in.
